The terrifying crash of thunder as clouds collide across the sky inspired this hand-pulled print. The violent sounds inspire me! Peeking out into the storm only for an instant, my imagination completes the rest of the drawing on the plate. What do you imagine is happening up there when you are in the middle of a fierce thunderous storm!
This work is from the "water series", exploring the importance of water in its transformations. Cloud imagery keeps popping up in both my prints and my paintings!
The Solarprint technique used in this print is eco friendly because it is exposed to the sun and developed using only water. It is printed by hand on 100% cotton paper.
